Structures through finite element analysis and topology optimization techniques has emerged as a new direction. The research focuses on optimizing the material distribution in non-critical load-bearing areas while ensuring the stiffness of the flange ring and the strength of the sealing surface, thereby achieving structural weight reduction. Preliminary engineering applications show that the optimized flange can achieve a weight reduction of 10%-15% under the same pressure rating, with a more uniform stress distribution. This technology is particularly suitable for large, high-pressure flanges, significantly reducing transportation and installation costs and enhancing overall energy efficiency.
